We woke up at 5am Tokyo time unable to sleep any more... the sun rises at 4:30 am here... after hanging out in our hotel for a few hours, we got ready to hit the streets... Sylvia didn't know how much walking I had planned for us, but I tried to prepare her as we were walking out the door...
We first walked around the government buildings in Chiyoda-ku, which is the Washington DC of Tokyo and where our hotel is located!
We are next door to the Supreme Court of Japan and just down the street is the National Diet legislation building...
Sylvia took a picture of me with a Federal Police officer in front of the Supreme Court - he didn't understand what she asking and he looked a little unsure of standing too close to me!
