We took the Limo bus into Tokyo to the Hotel New Otani. It is not our hotel, but the closest bus site to ours and it is also the site of a garden that is considered one of the best in Tokyo.
The hotel staff were very very nice! We were very impressed - something we should learn... even though we weren't staying there - when we asked where the gardens were the door guy left his post to take us inside to show us the hotel and help us check our bags inside so we didn't have to take them to our hotel first. Then we roamed the hotel shops and sites before heading out to the gardens... of course we got lost which must have been obvious since a very nice woman ran out of one shop, chased us down, and helped us find the gardens!
